The awards celebrate successes, recognise achievement and highlight innovative people and companies throughout Nottinghamshire who are putting their region on the map by boosting the economy while making a positive contribution to the local community.
The Excellence in Industry Award specifically recognises advancement and innovation. The finalists will be judged on the quality of their products and services while also looking at how they uphold the traditions of the local area. Strengthening the economy is key, while also looking at sales performance, sustainability and investment.
In an article in the Nottingham Post announcing the finalists, a spokesman for the newspaper, said: “In the day-to-day struggle to make it big in business, small and medium-sized companies don’t always have the time to shout about their achievements.
“The Nottingham Post Business Awards is all about giving them the recognition they deserve.
“Every year we invite businesses from around the region to come forward and tell us what they can do and what they’ve been up to in the last year.
“We love to hear about the businesses that are thriving, and the ones that are just getting started, because we know that what a difference these businesses make to the fabric of the city.”
Flogas Energy has been providing highly competitive fixed-price mains gas to businesses across the region and further afield since 2015.
